The WBC Figure 8 is scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd at Lake Conine
and the Blairfoot Endurance "Reunion" will take place on Sunday, October 23rd at Lake Roy in Winter Haven, FL.
Here is some of the preliminary information for the Blairfoot Bonanza
Endurance "Reunion".
I have us locked in at the Lake Roy Beach Inn for the weekend of October
21-23.
If we get 8 rooms minimum for each day, Fri/Sat, we will get a 20%
discount.
When you make your reservations, the rooms are listed under "The Blairfoot Reunion".
Normal check out is 1100am, noon if necessary.
The Beach Inn will keep one room available for us all day Sunday for restroom use for our group.
We are welcome to have our "Reunion" Tournament there Sunday and also have our cookout on the beach.
They have a boat ramp and there is also a boat launch available on the East side of Lake Roy.
The Beach Inn is certainly not a Hilton, but the location is awesome, with
a beach that will work out great for us. The boats can pull right up on the beach, and the water gets deep rapidly.

Q. Why not Lake Conine for The Blairfoot Reunion?
A. The WBC will most likely be training students there Sunday morning.
Q. What about using lake Silver like we have done in the past?
A. Sue Smith always had to prepare an "economic impact" study for the city to avoid a $300+ fee to use the lake. Police etc. were required.
Lake Roy was chosen because of the previously listed information and we
will not have to deal with the city, therefore, keeping the cost of the
"Reunion" down.
This will also help Don Simon out because of the close proximity of his
room by the lake.
When he is ready for his cookies and milk and a nap, it will be a short walk for him!
